LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, bar-in-wood, carved percussion fences, kinked toplever, rebounding locks, action marked 'JP Patent 245' (likely use number for J. Purdey double bite snap patent, No. 1104 of 2nd May 1863), border and acanthus scroll engraving, replacement triggerguard, 13 1/2in. stock with steel heel and toe plates, weight 6lb. 7oz.
